Welcome

Welcome readers to “Beast Ape & the Bleeding Heart Baboons.” For those of you new to my blog, BA&BHB is foremost a science blog. Since I am graduate student focusing on primate behavioral ecology & endocrinology, my writing will focus on biological/ behavioral sciences, with a few extras. Please refer to the “About” section for a more in-depth perspective on the blog & its author(s). Readers of my previous blog can expect much of the same style and subject matter to be covered here at BA&BHB. Older readers might be wondering, “ Why change address, title, etc?” I’ve done these things for several reasons:
1. I find wordpress to be superior to blogger in nearly every aspect of blogging, especially the aesthetics of the site.
2. I wanted to write a blog that focused more on my specific interests. The old blog was clearly moving in that direction, but I felt it need to be scrapped for Reason #1.
3. I decided to start writing under a pseudonym.
In sum, it was easier to reinvent the wheel than to adapt it for a new road. My first posts on this site will be from this past summer’s fieldwork. Enjoy.
